Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 50th goal of 2023 for club and country on Monday, December 11. Alnassr beat Al Shabab 5 - 2 in the quarter finals of king cup. This is the 8th time in Ronaldo's career that he has scored 50 goals or more in a calendar year.

Seko Fofana opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 17th minute. Al-Shabab equalized through Carlos seven minutes later. Luis Castro's side took control of the game with goals from Sadio Mane, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, and Ronaldo.

Ronaldo's goal came in the 74th minute after a neat one-two with Otavio. He was substituted to a standing ovation in the 82nd minute.Of his 50 goals in 2023, 40 have come for Al-Nassr and 10 for Portugal
